Here is a 3D Model of a safe. This project is based off a real brand of safe, The Hall’s Safe Co., and gave insight on how to create a realistic 3D model, as well as how to light and render a scene. Reflecting on this model, I can see ways in which I could have created this better, with residue from where I placed the stamps onto the safe, as well as UVs giving more detail to the front than the sides, as seen with the scrape on the paint shown on the side. Regardless, this model was a great introduction into the world of texturing and UV unwrapping.

Modelling done in Maya, texturing done in Mudbox.
